About Olusegun Abraham

Olusegun Oluseyi, Abraham is a God–lover, a God-chaser, a Minister of the gospel, a wonderful family man, a humanitarian with a heart to help other people, even sometimes when it’s not convenient for him and a diligent professional Accountant & /Financial Consultant.
Segun has been passionately involved with the work of God since 1993, when he had a personal encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ and he strongly believes that every aspect of God’s word can be practically experienced by anyone who will dare to believe and act with faith on what the word commands. He delights in teaching and sharing on the reality of supernatural living, with his inspiring personal testimonies.

Segun was born on Friday 23rd February, 1968 in Shagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria, West of Africa to his late Parents; Mr. Oladele Komaiya and Mrs. Julie Ebun Komaiya (popularly called Mummy Okun) and from childhood, his life has had to contend with unexpected life’s challenges and one of such was when his parents got divorced before he was 6 years old.

That forced him and his younger brother; Korede Komaiya (now the Senior Pastor at The Master’s Place International Church, Warri, Delta State, Nigeria) to start living with their late Mum alone. His Uncle; the immediate younger brother to his late mother, in the person of Rev. I. Ola Badejo (popularly called Daddy Manager) stepped in from then on, to play the role of a father to Segun and his younger brother.

Despite this emotionally tough challenges from childhood, God has always shown signs that He will use Segun in supernatural ways on this earth for His glory and one of such evidences was when Segun mistakenly swallowed an office pin while playing with it in his mouth during his primary school days. What a risky play that was!

However, by God’s divine intervention, Segun did not need to have a surgery to remove the pin from his bowels, despite being hospitalised for over one week, as the x-ray test at the time showed that the pin went straight into his waste sack, without damaging any of his vital internal organs and the pin stayed inside his waste sack until it was naturally excreted after one week.

This is one of the reasons Segun will forever be grateful to God for giving him such a sacrificially loving mother who was not ashamed at that difficult time to check through his faeces daily until the pin was confirmed excreted.  What a miracle God gave Segun!

As a Pastor today, God has continued to use Segun in miraculous ways to deliver supernatural testimonies into the lives of other people who embrace his teaching and preaching ministry, both within and outside Nigeria.

He’s a man totally sold out to Jesus and serves currently as the Senior Pastor at Calvary Bible Church, Idimu, Lagos, Nigeria, under the leadership of Pastor Olumide Emmanuel (the Church’s Overseer).

Segun’s journey into family life began when he married the love of his life; Dorcas Onyebuchi (whom he calls MyDear) on 15th February, 1997 and they have been happily married together for over 21 years now. They are blessed with two children (Akinwole David and Joy Opeoluwa), who are now Teenagers and are presently undergraduates at the University

Whatever success Segun has been able to experience in life till date, has been made possible by the grace of God, the sacrificial support from his wife and his very understanding children and with the support from his relations and many other destiny – helpers.

That Segun is alive today is worthy of heartfelt thanksgiving to the Lord because he had a very close shave with death, in the morning of Sunday, 25th June, 2000. Unaware that hired assassins who came for one of his neighbours were already in the compound on that fateful day, Segun stepped out of his then rented flat apartment in Lagos, Nigeria to go to church for Sunday service, only to find himself face-to-face with 3 assassins who pointed guns at him. It took the supernatural intervention of God to give him victory over untimely death on that day, despite several gun shots fired at him and till today some of the pellets are still locked within his body, with other marks of gun-shot wounds on his left hand and thighs. Unfortunately, the assassins succeeded in taking the life of Segun’s flat neighbour on that day. The details of this incident are contained in his Book titled; “Live Long, Live Healthy”.
Of a truth, the Lord alone has been a fortress over Segun’s life.

By profession, Segun is a Chartered Accountant, and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN). He retired previously as a Partner with Horwath Dafinone; Chartered Accountants, Lagos.
